How To Uninstall cleo On Debian 8

To uninstall cleo just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cleo

Play back shell commands for live demonstrationsDebian 8.0shells0.004-1
sudo apt-get remove cleo

This will remove just the cleo package itself.

Uninstall cleo and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cleo

This will remove the cleo package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cleo then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cleo

Or similarly, like this cleo

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cleo
