How To Uninstall clipf On Debian 8

To uninstall clipf just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clipf

command line minimalistic personal finance managerDebian 8.0misc0.4-1
sudo apt-get remove clipf

This will remove just the clipf package itself.

Uninstall clipf and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clipf

This will remove the clipf package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clipf then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clipf

Or similarly, like this clipf

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clipf
