How To Uninstall clips-common On Debian 8

To uninstall clips-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clips-common

CLIPS common files and examplesDebian 8.0interpreters6.24-3
sudo apt-get remove clips-common

This will remove just the clips-common package itself.

Uninstall clips-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clips-common

This will remove the clips-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clips-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clips-common

Or similarly, like this clips-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clips-common
