How To Uninstall clips-doc On Debian 8

To uninstall clips-doc just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clips-doc

sudo apt-get remove clips-doc

This will remove just the clips-doc package itself.

Uninstall clips-doc and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clips-doc

This will remove the clips-doc package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clips-doc then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clips-doc

Or similarly, like this clips-doc

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clips-doc
