How To Uninstall cloop-utils On Debian 8

To uninstall cloop-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cloop-utils

Tools for handling with cloop compressed volumesDebian 8.0misc3.14.1.1
sudo apt-get remove cloop-utils

This will remove just the cloop-utils package itself.

Uninstall cloop-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cloop-utils

This will remove the cloop-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cloop-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cloop-utils

Or similarly, like this cloop-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cloop-utils
