How To Uninstall cloud-utils On Debian 8

To uninstall cloud-utils just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cloud-utils

linuxcloud image management utilitiesadmin0.26-2
sudo apt-get remove cloud-utils

This will remove just the cloud-utils package itself.

Uninstall cloud-utils and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cloud-utils

This will remove the cloud-utils package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cloud-utils then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cloud-utils

Or similarly, like this cloud-utils

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cloud-utils
