How To Uninstall clzip-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall clzip-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just clzip-dbg

C, lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm (debug)Debian 8.0debug1.6-2
sudo apt-get remove clzip-dbg

This will remove just the clzip-dbg package itself.

Uninstall clzip-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove clzip-dbg

This will remove the clzip-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for clzip-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge clzip-dbg

Or similarly, like this clzip-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove clzip-dbg
