How To Uninstall cmigemo-common On Debian 8

To uninstall cmigemo-common just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cmigemo-common

linuxJapanese incremental search tool written in C - common filesutils1:1.2+gh0.20140306-4
sudo apt-get remove cmigemo-common

This will remove just the cmigemo-common package itself.

Uninstall cmigemo-common and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cmigemo-common

This will remove the cmigemo-common package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cmigemo-common then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cmigemo-common

Or similarly, like this cmigemo-common

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cmigemo-common
