How To Uninstall cmip5-cmor-tables On Debian 8

To uninstall cmip5-cmor-tables just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cmip5-cmor-tables

linuxCMIP5 tables for the Climate Model Output Rewriter libraryutils1.3.13-2
sudo apt-get remove cmip5-cmor-tables

This will remove just the cmip5-cmor-tables package itself.

Uninstall cmip5-cmor-tables and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cmip5-cmor-tables

This will remove the cmip5-cmor-tables package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cmip5-cmor-tables then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cmip5-cmor-tables

Or similarly, like this cmip5-cmor-tables

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cmip5-cmor-tables
