How To Uninstall cmt On Debian 8

To uninstall cmt just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cmt

linuxa collection of LADSPA pluginssound1.16-1
sudo apt-get remove cmt

This will remove just the cmt package itself.

Uninstall cmt and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cmt

This will remove the cmt package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cmt then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cmt

Or similarly, like this cmt

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cmt
