How To Uninstall cnrun On Debian 8

To uninstall cnrun just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just cnrun

linuxNeuroML-capable neuronal network simulatorscience1.1.14-1
sudo apt-get remove cnrun

This will remove just the cnrun package itself.

Uninstall cnrun and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove cnrun

This will remove the cnrun package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for cnrun then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge cnrun

Or similarly, like this cnrun

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove cnrun
