How To Uninstall coala On Debian 8

To uninstall coala just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just coala

linuxtranslates action languages into answer set programsinterpreters1.0.1-5
sudo apt-get remove coala

This will remove just the coala package itself.

Uninstall coala and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove coala

This will remove the coala package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for coala then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge coala

Or similarly, like this coala

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove coala
