How To Uninstall d-rats On Debian 8

To uninstall d-rats just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just d-rats

Communications tool for D-STAR amateur radioDebian 8.0hamradio0.3.3-3
sudo apt-get remove d-rats

This will remove just the d-rats package itself.

Uninstall d-rats and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove d-rats

This will remove the d-rats package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for d-rats then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge d-rats

Or similarly, like this d-rats

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove d-rats
