How To Uninstall daemonfs On Debian 8

To uninstall daemonfs just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just daemonfs

real time monitoring softwareDebian 8.0utils1.1-1
sudo apt-get remove daemonfs

This will remove just the daemonfs package itself.

Uninstall daemonfs and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove daemonfs

This will remove the daemonfs package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for daemonfs then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge daemonfs

Or similarly, like this daemonfs

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove daemonfs
