How To Uninstall java-wrappers On Debian 8

To uninstall java-wrappers just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just java-wrappers

wrappers for java executablesDebian 8.0java0.1.28
sudo apt-get remove java-wrappers

This will remove just the java-wrappers package itself.

Uninstall java-wrappers and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove java-wrappers

This will remove the java-wrappers package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for java-wrappers then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge java-wrappers

Or similarly, like this java-wrappers

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove java-wrappers
