How To Uninstall lib32asan0 On Debian 8

To uninstall lib32asan0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just lib32asan0

AddressSanitizer -- a fast memory error detector (32bit)Debian 8.0libs4.8.4-1
sudo apt-get remove lib32asan0

This will remove just the lib32asan0 package itself.

Uninstall lib32asan0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32asan0

This will remove the lib32asan0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for lib32asan0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge lib32asan0

Or similarly, like this lib32asan0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32asan0
