How To Uninstall lib32atomic1 On Debian 8

To uninstall lib32atomic1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just lib32atomic1

support library providing __atomic built-in functions (32bit)Debian 8.0libs4.9.2-10
sudo apt-get remove lib32atomic1

This will remove just the lib32atomic1 package itself.

Uninstall lib32atomic1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove lib32atomic1

This will remove the lib32atomic1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for lib32atomic1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge lib32atomic1

Or similarly, like this lib32atomic1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove lib32atomic1
