How To Uninstall libace-inet-6.2.8 On Debian 8

To uninstall libace-inet-6.2.8 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libace-inet-6.2.8

ACE Inet protocol libraryDebian 8.0libs6.2.8+dfsg-1
sudo apt-get remove libace-inet-6.2.8

This will remove just the libace-inet-6.2.8 package itself.

Uninstall libace-inet-6.2.8 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libace-inet-6.2.8

This will remove the libace-inet-6.2.8 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libace-inet-6.2.8 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libace-inet-6.2.8

Or similarly, like this libace-inet-6.2.8

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libace-inet-6.2.8
