How To Uninstall libalglib3.8-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libalglib3.8-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libalglib3.8-dbg

Debugging symbols for the alglib libraryDebian 8.0debug3.8.2-3
sudo apt-get remove libalglib3.8-dbg

This will remove just the libalglib3.8-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libalglib3.8-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libalglib3.8-dbg

This will remove the libalglib3.8-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libalglib3.8-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libalglib3.8-dbg

Or similarly, like this libalglib3.8-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libalglib3.8-dbg
