How To Uninstall libantlr-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libantlr-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libantlr-java

language tool for constructing recognizers, compilers etc (java library)Debian 8.0java2.7.7+dfsg-6
sudo apt-get remove libantlr-java

This will remove just the libantlr-java package itself.

Uninstall libantlr-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libantlr-java

This will remove the libantlr-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libantlr-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libantlr-java

Or similarly, like this libantlr-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libantlr-java
