How To Uninstall libapache-pom-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libapache-pom-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapache-pom-java

Maven metadata for all Apache Software projectsDebian 8.0java10-2
sudo apt-get remove libapache-pom-java

This will remove just the libapache-pom-java package itself.

Uninstall libapache-pom-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapache-pom-java

This will remove the libapache-pom-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapache-pom-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapache-pom-java

Or similarly, like this libapache-pom-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapache-pom-java
