How To Uninstall libapache2-mod-proxy-html On Debian 8

To uninstall libapache2-mod-proxy-html just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapache2-mod-proxy-html

Transitional package for apache2-binDebian 8.0oldlibs1:2.4.10-10+deb8u8
sudo apt-get remove libapache2-mod-proxy-html

This will remove just the libapache2-mod-proxy-html package itself.

Uninstall libapache2-mod-proxy-html and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapache2-mod-proxy-html

This will remove the libapache2-mod-proxy-html package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapache2-mod-proxy-html then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapache2-mod-proxy-html

Or similarly, like this libapache2-mod-proxy-html

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapache2-mod-proxy-html
