How To Uninstall libapophenia0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libapophenia0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapophenia0-dbg

Apophenia Statistical C Library -- debug symbols packageDebian 8.0debug0.999b+ds3-2
sudo apt-get remove libapophenia0-dbg

This will remove just the libapophenia0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libapophenia0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapophenia0-dbg

This will remove the libapophenia0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapophenia0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapophenia0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libapophenia0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapophenia0-dbg
