How To Uninstall libappconfig-perl On Debian 8

To uninstall libappconfig-perl just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libappconfig-perl

Perl module for configuration file and command line handlingDebian 8.0perl1.66-1
sudo apt-get remove libappconfig-perl

This will remove just the libappconfig-perl package itself.

Uninstall libappconfig-perl and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libappconfig-perl

This will remove the libappconfig-perl package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libappconfig-perl then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libappconfig-perl

Or similarly, like this libappconfig-perl

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libappconfig-perl
