How To Uninstall libapq-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libapq-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapq-dbg

Pluggable Ada 95 Binding to various database systems (debug)Debian 8.0debug3.2.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libapq-dbg

This will remove just the libapq-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libapq-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapq-dbg

This will remove the libapq-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapq-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapq-dbg

Or similarly, like this libapq-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapq-dbg
