How To Uninstall libapr1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libapr1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libapr1

Apache Portable Runtime LibraryDebian 8.0libs1.5.1-3
sudo apt-get remove libapr1

This will remove just the libapr1 package itself.

Uninstall libapr1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libapr1

This will remove the libapr1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libapr1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libapr1

Or similarly, like this libapr1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libapr1
