How To Uninstall libaprutil1-dbd-mysql On Debian 8

To uninstall libaprutil1-dbd-mysql just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libaprutil1-dbd-mysql

Apache Portable Runtime Utility Library - MySQL DriverDebian 8.0libs1.5.4-1
sudo apt-get remove libaprutil1-dbd-mysql

This will remove just the libaprutil1-dbd-mysql package itself.

Uninstall libaprutil1-dbd-mysql and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libaprutil1-dbd-mysql

This will remove the libaprutil1-dbd-mysql package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libaprutil1-dbd-mysql then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libaprutil1-dbd-mysql

Or similarly, like this libaprutil1-dbd-mysql

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libaprutil1-dbd-mysql
