How To Uninstall libargtable2-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libargtable2-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libargtable2-dev

A library for parsing GNU style command line argumentsDebian 8.0libdevel12-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libargtable2-dev

This will remove just the libargtable2-dev package itself.

Uninstall libargtable2-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libargtable2-dev

This will remove the libargtable2-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libargtable2-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libargtable2-dev

Or similarly, like this libargtable2-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libargtable2-dev
