How To Uninstall libarpack++2c2a On Debian 8

To uninstall libarpack++2c2a just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libarpack++2c2a

Object-oriented version of the ARPACK package (runtime)Debian 8.0libs2.3-5
sudo apt-get remove libarpack++2c2a

This will remove just the libarpack++2c2a package itself.

Uninstall libarpack++2c2a and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libarpack++2c2a

This will remove the libarpack++2c2a package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libarpack++2c2a then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libarpack++2c2a

Or similarly, like this libarpack++2c2a

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libarpack++2c2a
