How To Uninstall libattica-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libattica-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libattica-dbg

debug symbols for libatticaDebian 8.0debug0.4.2-1
sudo apt-get remove libattica-dbg

This will remove just the libattica-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libattica-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libattica-dbg

This will remove the libattica-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libattica-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libattica-dbg

Or similarly, like this libattica-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libattica-dbg
