How To Uninstall libauparse0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libauparse0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libauparse0

Dynamic library for parsing security auditingDebian 8.0libs1:2.4-1+b1
sudo apt-get remove libauparse0

This will remove just the libauparse0 package itself.

Uninstall libauparse0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libauparse0

This will remove the libauparse0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libauparse0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libauparse0

Or similarly, like this libauparse0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libauparse0
