How To Uninstall libautocomplete-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libautocomplete-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libautocomplete-java

Java library for auto-completion in text componentDebian 8.0java2.5.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libautocomplete-java

This will remove just the libautocomplete-java package itself.

Uninstall libautocomplete-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libautocomplete-java

This will remove the libautocomplete-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libautocomplete-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libautocomplete-java

Or similarly, like this libautocomplete-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libautocomplete-java
