How To Uninstall libavahi1.0-cil On Debian 8
To uninstall libavahi1.0-cil just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libavahi1.0-cil
http://installion.co.uk/debian/jessie/main/l/libavahi1.0-cil/uninstall/index.htmlCLI bindings for AvahiDebian 8.0cli-mono0.6.19-4.2sudo apt-get remove libavahi1.0-cil
This will remove just the libavahi1.0-cil package itself.
Uninstall libavahi1.0-cil and its dependencies
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libavahi1.0-cil
This will remove the libavahi1.0-cil package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
Purging your config/data too
If you also want to delete your local/config files for libavahi1.0-cil then this will work.
Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libavahi1.0-cil
Or similarly, like this libavahi1.0-cil
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libavahi1.0-cil
