How To Uninstall libbabeltrace-ctf1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libbabeltrace-ctf1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbabeltrace-ctf1

Common Trace Format (CTF) libraryDebian 8.0libs1.2.3-2
sudo apt-get remove libbabeltrace-ctf1

This will remove just the libbabeltrace-ctf1 package itself.

Uninstall libbabeltrace-ctf1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbabeltrace-ctf1

This will remove the libbabeltrace-ctf1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbabeltrace-ctf1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbabeltrace-ctf1

Or similarly, like this libbabeltrace-ctf1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbabeltrace-ctf1
