How To Uninstall libbabl-0.1-0-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libbabl-0.1-0-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbabl-0.1-0-dbg

Dynamic, any to any, pixel format conversion library (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug0.1.10-2
sudo apt-get remove libbabl-0.1-0-dbg

This will remove just the libbabl-0.1-0-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libbabl-0.1-0-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbabl-0.1-0-dbg

This will remove the libbabl-0.1-0-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbabl-0.1-0-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbabl-0.1-0-dbg

Or similarly, like this libbabl-0.1-0-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbabl-0.1-0-dbg
