How To Uninstall libbamf0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libbamf0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbamf0

Window matching library - shared library (gtk2)Debian 8.0libs0.2.118-1
sudo apt-get remove libbamf0

This will remove just the libbamf0 package itself.

Uninstall libbamf0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbamf0

This will remove the libbamf0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbamf0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbamf0

Or similarly, like this libbamf0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbamf0
