How To Uninstall libbcpkix-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libbcpkix-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbcpkix-java

Bouncy Castle Java API for PKIX, CMS, EAC, TSP, PKCS, OCSP, CMP, and CRMFDebian 8.0java1.49+dfsg-3+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove libbcpkix-java

This will remove just the libbcpkix-java package itself.

Uninstall libbcpkix-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbcpkix-java

This will remove the libbcpkix-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbcpkix-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbcpkix-java

Or similarly, like this libbcpkix-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbcpkix-java
