How To Uninstall libbiosig1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libbiosig1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbiosig1-dbg

I/O library for biomedical data - debug symbolsDebian 8.0debug1.3.0-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove libbiosig1-dbg

This will remove just the libbiosig1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libbiosig1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbiosig1-dbg

This will remove the libbiosig1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbiosig1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbiosig1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libbiosig1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbiosig1-dbg
