How To Uninstall libbiosig1 On Debian 8

To uninstall libbiosig1 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbiosig1

I/O library for biomedical data - dynamic libraryDebian 8.0libs1.3.0-2+b2
sudo apt-get remove libbiosig1

This will remove just the libbiosig1 package itself.

Uninstall libbiosig1 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbiosig1

This will remove the libbiosig1 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbiosig1 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbiosig1

Or similarly, like this libbiosig1

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbiosig1
