How To Uninstall libbluetooth3 On Debian 8

To uninstall libbluetooth3 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbluetooth3

Library to use the BlueZ Linux Bluetooth stackDebian 8.0libs5.23-2+b1
sudo apt-get remove libbluetooth3

This will remove just the libbluetooth3 package itself.

Uninstall libbluetooth3 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbluetooth3

This will remove the libbluetooth3 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbluetooth3 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbluetooth3

Or similarly, like this libbluetooth3

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbluetooth3
