How To Uninstall libbrlapi-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libbrlapi-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbrlapi-dbg

sudo apt-get remove libbrlapi-dbg

This will remove just the libbrlapi-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libbrlapi-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbrlapi-dbg

This will remove the libbrlapi-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbrlapi-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbrlapi-dbg

Or similarly, like this libbrlapi-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbrlapi-dbg
