How To Uninstall libbrlapi0.6 On Debian 8

To uninstall libbrlapi0.6 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbrlapi0.6

sudo apt-get remove libbrlapi0.6

This will remove just the libbrlapi0.6 package itself.

Uninstall libbrlapi0.6 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbrlapi0.6

This will remove the libbrlapi0.6 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbrlapi0.6 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbrlapi0.6

Or similarly, like this libbrlapi0.6

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbrlapi0.6
