How To Uninstall libbytecode-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libbytecode-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libbytecode-java

Java bytecode manipulation libraryDebian 8.0java0.92.svn.20090106-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libbytecode-java

This will remove just the libbytecode-java package itself.

Uninstall libbytecode-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libbytecode-java

This will remove the libbytecode-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libbytecode-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libbytecode-java

Or similarly, like this libbytecode-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libbytecode-java
