How To Uninstall libcaja-extension1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libcaja-extension1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcaja-extension1-dbg

libraries for caja components (debugging symbols)Debian 8.0debug1.8.2-3+deb8u1
sudo apt-get remove libcaja-extension1-dbg

This will remove just the libcaja-extension1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libcaja-extension1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcaja-extension1-dbg

This will remove the libcaja-extension1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcaja-extension1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcaja-extension1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libcaja-extension1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcaja-extension1-dbg
