How To Uninstall libcanl-c++1-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libcanl-c++1-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcanl-c++1-dbg

EMI Common Authentication Library - Debug Symbols for C++Debian 8.0debug1.1.0-1
sudo apt-get remove libcanl-c++1-dbg

This will remove just the libcanl-c++1-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libcanl-c++1-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcanl-c++1-dbg

This will remove the libcanl-c++1-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcanl-c++1-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcanl-c++1-dbg

Or similarly, like this libcanl-c++1-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcanl-c++1-dbg
