To uninstall libcanl-c++1-dev just follow these instructions.
sudo apt-get remove libcanl-c++1-dev
This will remove just the libcanl-c++1-dev package itself.
sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcanl-c++1-dev
This will remove the libcanl-c++1-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.
If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcanl-c++1-dev then this will work.
sudo apt-get purge libcanl-c++1-dev
Or similarly, like this libcanl-c++1-dev
sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcanl-c++1-dev
