How To Uninstall libcanl-c2-dbg On Debian 8

To uninstall libcanl-c2-dbg just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcanl-c2-dbg

Debugging symbols for EMI caNl libraryDebian 8.0debug2.1.5-1.1
sudo apt-get remove libcanl-c2-dbg

This will remove just the libcanl-c2-dbg package itself.

Uninstall libcanl-c2-dbg and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcanl-c2-dbg

This will remove the libcanl-c2-dbg package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcanl-c2-dbg then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcanl-c2-dbg

Or similarly, like this libcanl-c2-dbg

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcanl-c2-dbg
