How To Uninstall libcdi-api-java On Debian 8

To uninstall libcdi-api-java just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcdi-api-java

Contexts and Dependency Injection for Java EEDebian 8.0java1.0-2
sudo apt-get remove libcdi-api-java

This will remove just the libcdi-api-java package itself.

Uninstall libcdi-api-java and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcdi-api-java

This will remove the libcdi-api-java package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcdi-api-java then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcdi-api-java

Or similarly, like this libcdi-api-java

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcdi-api-java
