How To Uninstall libcext0 On Debian 8

To uninstall libcext0 just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcext0

Commonly used utility functions for C programsDebian 8.0libs6.5-1
sudo apt-get remove libcext0

This will remove just the libcext0 package itself.

Uninstall libcext0 and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcext0

This will remove the libcext0 package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcext0 then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcext0

Or similarly, like this libcext0

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcext0
