How To Uninstall libcgmanager-dev On Debian 8

To uninstall libcgmanager-dev just follow these instructions.

Uninstall just libcgmanager-dev

Central cgroup manager daemon (dev)Debian 8.0libdevel0.33-2+deb8u2
sudo apt-get remove libcgmanager-dev

This will remove just the libcgmanager-dev package itself.

Uninstall libcgmanager-dev and its dependencies

sudo apt-get remove --auto-remove libcgmanager-dev

This will remove the libcgmanager-dev package and any other dependant packages which are no longer needed.

Purging your config/data too

If you also want to delete your local/config files for libcgmanager-dev then this will work.

 Caution! Purged config/data can not be restored by reinstalling the package.
sudo apt-get purge libcgmanager-dev

Or similarly, like this libcgmanager-dev

sudo apt-get purge --auto-remove libcgmanager-dev
